Paul van IJsselstein
Paul van IJsselstein is Managing Partner in the Stratagem Group. Within the Group, Paul is focusing on international relations, industrial policy and geo-political developments in the aerospace and public security sector. He has created a number of strategic industrial alliances, regional initiatives and innovative solutions for the aircraft & helicopter maintenance industry. He is leading a number of international projects in the field of maintenance, technical education & training, composites and anti-corrosion processes.
Until June 2004, Mr. van IJsselstein was vice president International Business Development for the Boeing Integrated Defense Systems Group in Europe and before that he was stationed in Australia for a period of three years as regional director Naval Systems for Thales.
After retiring from a 20 year career in the Royal Netherlands Navy, including four years in the United Kingdom with the Royal Navy, Paul started to work for the Netherlands’ Ministry of Economic Affairs in 1984 as policy director. Later he joined the Fokker Company, where he worked in various senior management positions for a period of twelve years in the Aerospace and the Space divisions. His time with Fokker included a four year posting in Washington D.C.
