Luc Laveyne

Luc Laveyne is partner in the Stratagem Group. He received a Masters Degree in Political Sciences, Public Administration in 1983 and a Masters Degree in Constitutional and Administrative Public Law in 1985.

Luc Laveyne had a long career in the political sector and public office in Belgium. He served as advisor to the Emile Vandervelde Institute, he was Head of the Administration of the city of Machelen, and Head of Staff of the Governor of the province of Flemish Brabant.

In early 2003 he founded his own consultancy firm, Luc Laveyne Advies bvba. One year later he founded with Bouke Veldman and Paul Van IJsselstein the Stratagem Group.

He is now adviser in the airport and aviation sector and in the public affairs sector.

He is involved with the Brussels Airport Company as an external consultant on strategy, regulatory and governmental affairs. He represents, on behalf of ACI Europe, the European Airports in the Eurocontrol decision making bodies and acts as an expert for the European Commission and other national and international organisations.

He is also a non-executive director of the Belgian ATC providor Belgocontrol and chairman of an public investment company, nv Novovil.
He is an expert in the functioning of the public and political sector and specialises in the development of networks, strategy development, regulatory affairs and European aviation matters.
Luc runs the Brussels office of the Stratagem Group.
